Antique 1910s Black Mourning Dress

Stunning dress, circa 1910s and is most likely a mourning dress. Black cotton lawn with absolutely incredible beading and very interesting sleeves. They are two layers, the over layer of silk chiffon and then. Medium to smaller large size I'd say. Please see condition below.
Great to good vintage condition, for its age. Its still wearable but it does need to be treated with a great deal of respect and there are some issues that need some TLC that are above my meagre seamstress skills if you wish to wear it for more than just a photo shoot for example, or as a pattern or study. There are a few holes, mostly in the front of the skirt but a few elsewhere also, you can see the worst of these in the photos. Those will need to be patched and stabilized. Some seams will need to be re-stitched. The silk holding he beading in the front modesty panel is pretty much done, it should be replaced. Luckily the beading is a separate piece and can be reattached to something else. The worst issue s the chiffon top layer of the sleeves, they are both pretty shot. Luckily the more opaque silk underneath is still in good shape for the most part so one could remove those chiffon parts and just have the silk sleeves with lace. Otherwise there are some faded patches. Its priced according to these flaws and sold as is.

Shoulder to bottom hem: 54"
