Vintage 1970s Pendleton Plaid Tartan Check Two Piece Suit

Wonderful vintage wool Pendleton suit from the 1970s in a beautiful red and blue plaid tartan with touches of yellow. Jacket is a classic single breasted tailored style with two pockets and three buttons. The skirt is full length maxi style with pleats. The waist has some elastic and a button and zipper closure. The jacket is lined, skirt not. This is a really extraordinary quality suit. Label reads: Warranted to be a Pendleton, Pendleton Woolen Mills, 100% Virgin Wool, Portland Oregon, and theres a number 12 to the side, which I believe is a size but do check measurements as vintage is not the same as modern sizing.

Excellent vintage condition. There are a few moth holes, see photos for an example. Priced accordingly.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hips.
Jacket:
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40"
Waist: 36 at center button"
Shoulder to waist: 26"

Skirt:
Waist: 26" at rest up to about 31" stretched
Hips: 44"
Waist to bottom hem: 40.5"
